BEDROOM -
installation, 1996,1997 |
| |
| |
It consisits of three metal sculptures: |
| |
1. BED with a hole (in
mattres) in contour of female body, |
| |
smeared with oil mix of female and male aphrodiziacs. |
| |
The bed is passive side of the story. “I`ll be what
you want |
| |
me to be”. |
| |
Material: iron, aphrodiziacs. |
| |
| |
2. PILLOW leans against
the leg of the bed; suggests things |
| |
scattered around. Pillow is made of lead with
“flowerish |
| |
pattern” of steel blades. It is about attraction
(at first |
| |
impression) then possibility of injury in imediate
nearness. |
| |
So, love game of seduction: attraction and rejection. |
| |
Material: lead, steel, iron dust. |
| |
| |
3. CONTOUR is active side
of the same story. |
| |
Contour of woman in seductive pose - in the same time |
| |
struggles for liberation (hangs on chain). |
| |
Golden leaves of brass suggest wealth, softness and
open |
| |
invitation but very near are little, sharp points of
rejection. |
| |
Material: iron, brass, paint. |
